What if art could be a source of connection with yourself and others?

The HeART Circle Collective

What if there were a creative practice that could meet you exactly where you are, without ridged daily demands that are hard to keep up with? What if that practice was created to meet you at your current skill level, even if you have never created art before? What if it could grow with you as your skills grow? What if your practice could be supported with gentle guidance and a community of other like-minded creatives who cheered each other on and held space for one another? If this type of creative practice sounds supportive to you, then you are in the right place!

Creativity can be a way to come back home to yourself

What if you didn't have to navigate your creative journey alone?

The HeART Circle Collective will be launching in January of 2027 to support the Art Within Journey. It is a welcoming community of women who come together for live sessions each month to create art and share our experiences as we work though the Art Within Journey together. The HeART Circle Collective is a nonjudgmental and supportive community. There is no pressure to make "good" art. There is no pressure to be anything more than you are right now because, you are enough! Creating art is a tool for self discovery and The Art Within Journey is a living creative practice.

The HeART Circle Collective is a community designed to support the Art Within Journey with live monthly sessions built around the 12 themes of the Art Within Journey:

  • January: Designing a creative practice that works for you.

  • February: Embrace Imperfection.

  • March: Finding creative inspiration.

  • April: Honoring your personal creative process.

  • May: Dealing with creative blocks.

  • June: Building personal connection through art and reflection.

  • July: Exploring the connection between mindfulness and art.

  • August: Building your creative community.

  • September: Your personal relationship with color.

  • October: The importance of play.

  • November: Embrace where you are.

  • December: Art as self-care, moving forward.

What's Included in your membership?

Live monthly sessions to create together

Live sessions will be 90 minutes long. They will start with a gentle breathing exercise to settle into the space together and release the day. I will then introduce the topic for the month and the art prompt to go with the topic. While we co-create together the floor will be open to questions or conversation around the topic for the month. We will wrap up each session with a brief share and reflection for those who wish to share briefly. Please note that sharing your art or thoughts is completely optional and there is never any pressure to do so. Sometimes our work and thoughts are just for us, and that is always honored.

  • Recordings of all live sessions.

On demand recordings from each of the live sessions will be available for playback at your convenience for anyone who can't make a live session or who would like to revisit a session at a later point.

  • Library of resources.

You will have access to the full library of all 12 themes in the Art Within Journey. Each post includes art and reflection prompts plus suggested reading featuring some of my favorite art related books, plus some fun bonuses!

  • HeART Circle Community Forum

This online forum space features a topic for each month so we can share our work, ask questions, and support each other's journey. This private group is only for members so that we can keep a safe and supportive container for our practice.

ABOUT YOUR COMMUNITY HOST

Jennifer MacIsaac

My name is Jen, I am the artist and creative self-care guide behind The Art Within Journey and Art-Breaks. I believe that creative expression is a powerful form of self-care, and creativity is a human trait. I am Inspired by nature, mindfulness, and the beauty found in everyday moments. My creative journey has been a long one with many twists and turns. I have learned a lot about myself along the way. One thing I learned is that my creative energy ebbs and flows and I needed a practice that could meet me where I am in the moment. I don't do well with strict or ridged rules.

I have taught art classes and led creative women's circles over the years which has given me the opportunity to learn from and support all types. These women have taught me just how important it is to hold space for each other. They have taught me that creating together in community can be a beautiful and healing experience.

FAQ

Still have questions?

What if I am not creative?

First of all, I believe that creativity is a human trait. I can show you simple techniques that are fun and easy to do. All you have to do is show up with curiosity and a willingness to play.

Will I need a bunch of expensive supplies?

Not at all! I will show you how to start creating with simple items you already have around your home. You can always add more art supplies as you go. Just be warned, collecting art supplies has a way of becoming its own creative hobby!

What if Ihave been creating art for a long time?

If you are a more seasoned artist, you may discover new ways to extend your practice or to challenge your beliefs around your practice. We will be exploring gentle and accessible prompts together, but there is no limit to haw far you can take it. Sometime it can be nice to change things up a bit and explore art in a new way.

How much time will I need to commit?

The time you commit to your practice is up to you. I will share small ways to incorporate art-breaks into daily life, but there is no requirement to set aside any specific amount of time. I am a believer that a good creative practice needs to fit the individual. There is no one size fits all.

The live sessions will be once a month on a Thursday evening from 6:00-7:30 pm EST. (90 minutes).

What if I can not come to a live session?

No worries, I will post the recordings in the HeART Circle Community forum and you can watch it at your convenience. You can still post questions/comments and share your art in the forum as well to keep the community spirit going!

Do I have to share my art or talk during sessions?

Sharing is completely optional. We will always honor and respect your choice not to share. Sometime our art is personal and created just for ourselves. We will however be exploring some mindset shifts around embracing where we are on our creative journey, releasing expectations, and allowing imperfection.

Do I have to join for the whole year?

No, The membership will be available in 3 month increments with a discount if you register for the whole year. With the membership you will have access to the live sessions, the recordings, and to the community forum. Special resources and bonuses will also be available in the forum for members.

There will also be a "Trial Live Session" price. If you purchase the trial session you will only have access to the live session on the date you sign up for and will not be able to access the community forum, resources, or recordings.

What if I have other questions?

If you have other questions you would like to ask me please feel free to email me at jennifer@art-breaks.com I will respond as quickly as I can. Please keep in mind this is not my fulltime job and I do work fulltime so please allow me a bit of time to get back to you. I will do my best to respond within a day or two.
